We have come up with a project to produce charcoal briquette. The project is a renewable energy initiative that uses municipal waste to manufacture charcoal briquette. Over 60% of the African population still depends on wood and its products as sources of energy hence contributing significantly to global warming through deforestation. A considerable portion of the population uses paraffin as their source of energy. Other than the effects on the environment, the smoke from wood, wood charcoal, and paraffin commonly used in the continent as the primary sources of energy pause serious health hazards to the population. Therefore, the use of the smoke-free briquettes, which we will make from waste materials as an alternative, will profoundly help conserve the environment and safeguard the health of the population.
We the project is due to commence in November
